Magnet AXIOM released its new version update to its users on 02/10/2023. With the new updates released, there are many inference features for Facebook, iOS Messages, Safari, Snapchat, Tinder, Signal, and other applications in iOS and Android operating systems. In particular, the support for recovering contact and message contents of Facebook and Singal applications has been updated. Magnet AXIOM 7.6.0.37501 new version features are shown below.

■ When viewing items in the Registry explorer, you can now right-click to collapse items more quickly.

■ You can now highlight protobuf data in the Hex/Text Card and right-click to view it in our protobuf viewer.

■ The Magnet.AI weapons category can now search for media containing 3D printed weapons and weapon parts.

Bug fixes

■ An Android device may no longer be selected as the evidence source during mobile retrieval if its iSerial property has been changed. This is to prevent an attacker from exploiting the command injection vulnerability -ENGN-7199

■ AXIOM introduced the ability to read uninitialized file extensions in an ext4 image. -ENGN-1768

■ After changing settings in AXIOM Examine, multiple attempts to close the Settings window would cause AXIOM to crash. These problems have been fixed. -AXE-10922 -EXM-1414

■ Sometimes, creating Media explorer would cause AXIOM Examine to crash. -EXM-2801

■ Sometimes, the Media explorer was not created when the option was selected from the Tools menu. -EXM-2743

■ Android TikTok Draft Media was incorrectly reported as published. -MARS-1160

■ Some data was missing in iOS Telegram Messages. [v9.5.4] -MARS-1363

■ When the case involved Instagram Direct Messages or Instagram Group Members from multiple sources of evidence, sending and receiving users were being misreported. -MARS-1467
